Moxistan Building Nuke

The Moxistani Ministry of National Defense has recently announced its plans for building a nuclear weapon. It has contracted with the privately owned company Foreign Adversary Preventatives Group also known as FAP Group. Construction will begin soon at the Moxistani Defense Force's base in Area 31 where the nuclear weapon and launch site will be located.

When asked about the purposes of nuclear armament, the MND's leader stated "To ensure the safety and sovereignty of the great land of Moxistan, we must ensure we have the means of defense to defend against even the most strongest of foreign adversaries. We have noticed a rise in attacks against our nation and we will not tolerate any threats to the safety of the Uncleland. Nuclear development is essential to guaranteeing national defense." The Ministry of National Statistics has responded to the claim of Moxistan being subject to increased attacks as fake news stating that Moxistan is actually in the top 10 safest nations with the least external conflicts and threats. The MNS also stated that the attacks perceived by the MND's leader are likely just people making fun of him on social media. Moxistan News has confirmed that no actual attacks of significance have occurred.

Our nation's leader, NightMox has also commented on the nuke's development. They state the real reason the nuke is being developed is so Moxistan can launch a nuclear attack on the Netherlands. NightMox stated "So you know how like in Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid V, they discuss the concept of nuclear deterrence and crap and the games are kinda anti-nuke and whatever? Well this made me realize my country needed nukes. And not only would having nukes deter others from fucking with us, but we could also nuke the fucking Dutch. Now normally, I consider myself a very tolerant person but when it comes to the Dutch, tolerance is not an option. Fuck them and their stupid language that looks like English and German had an inbred child." NATO has warned Moxistan that any nuclear threats will be taken seriously and that it will retaliate against any attacks against its member states but NightMox has made a public response to the warnings simply stating "Kill yourselves, NATO cucks."

Protests have since been occurring across Moxistan opposed to the nuclear program stating concerns about international tensions. Groups such as the Mox Lives Matter movement have voiced support for the nuclear program and support the nuking of the Netherlands since it was one of the countries they protested in and has banned all Moxistani travel to the country. While none of the protests have escalated to violence, there was one incident where the leader of the MND had a meltdown in social media over the criticism he was facing and challenged everyone criticizing him to a fight. He then went to a protest where he challenged the protesters to a fight and after one of them took him up on the offer, the protester beat him, resulting in the leader of the MND needing to be hospitalized. It was later revealed the leader of the MND exaggerated his injuries and they were actually very minimal and he never needed medical assistance in the first place. Because the fight was consensual between both parties and no significant injuries were sustained by the MND's leader, the girl responsible for his injuries will not have charges pressed against her. The leader of the MND had an emotional breakdown on social media later that day over the event. The MND and FAP Group have confirmed the protests will have no impact on the development of the nuke.

Alongside the protest, a petition has been created to call for the end of Moxistan's nuclear weapons program. Despite reaching its goal, both the MND and FAP Group have stated they don't care what a bunch of protesters have to say because a bunch of people signing a petition doesn't mean they have to actually do anything. For the time being, it appears Moxistan's nuclear weapons program will continue and possibly bring in a new age for Moxistani national defense
